What is Larens Colour?
Larens Colour is a WellU colour cosmetics line — the same company that created Larens cosmeceutics and Nutrivi supplements built on Biopeptide Complex. The line's philosophy is summed up in its tagline "More than make-up": every product in this line is meant to be both a colour cosmetic (coverage, colour, longevity) and an active skincare product while worn.
This isn't a marketing slogan — Larens Colour formulas are built differently from typical colour cosmetics. Instead of polycyclic silicones and synthetic preservatives, WellU has introduced liposomal collagen, multi-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, and plant extracts known from the Larens cosmeceutics line.
As much as 85% of Larens Colour Liquid Foundation Glow's ingredients come from nature. Formulas contain no polycyclic silicones, microplastics, harmful UV filters, quaternary ammonium compounds, parabens, PVP, nylon, phenoxyethanol or aluminium.
What replaces silicones and parabens?
Typical colour cosmetics contain polycyclic silicones — they give a silky texture, but their residues build up on the skin and can clog pores. WellU replaced them with ingredients that have specific skincare functions:
Collagen in nanocapsules
Collagen encapsulated in liposomes (fatty nanoparticles) penetrates deeper into the skin than "free" collagen. It strengthens skin structure, improves elasticity, and has an anti-wrinkle effect while makeup is worn.
Hydration on three levels
High- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid plus liposomal HA work on different layers of the skin — from the epidermis (immediate hydration) to the dermis (filling fine lines). This is a standard found in advanced creams, not typical foundations.
Firming and regeneration
Phytodermina H Lifting firms and smooths skin while worn. Centella asiatica soothes irritation and supports regeneration — especially important for sensitive skin, which often reacts to colour cosmetics with redness.
Protecting the hydrolipidic barrier
Beeswax, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and shea butter renew the skin's hydrolipidic barrier. Natural UV filters (instead of chemical ones) protect against sun radiation without the risk of allergic reactions typical of synthetic filters.

How to use Larens Colour together with Larens cosmeceutics?
WellU designed both worlds — Larens (cosmeceutics) and Larens Colour (makeup) — to be complementary. Biopeptide Serum Spray applied before foundation preps the skin and increases absorption of active ingredients from your makeup. Foundation applied over hydrated, serum-prepped skin sits better and lasts longer.
Suggested order: cleanse → Biopeptide Serum Spray as a base → Larens Colour Foundation → concealer → powder. This approach combines skincare with makeup without needing a separate primer.
Larens Colour Foundation contains lactic acid, which ensures the right pH and preps skin for makeup application. This means you don't need a separate toner between serum and foundation — one product serves two functions.
